Are you sure you're a blacksmith? Galvanized steel and zinc release poisonous fumes when heated. You need to have black steel fittings and pipes.

while i agree thtat the forge wont lose integrity fast enough to cause a problem with the feul take being under the forge BUT the forge is very capable of reaching wleding temp. and as such you risk pushing a peice that has melted of the main work peice out of the forge and starting a fire near the feul tank, and just so you know ive ben forging for well over 4 years so i do know what im talking about

almost all homemade forge dezigns including that one cant even get to forge welding temps and forges dont suddenly loose there integrety all the sudden and those tanks are made to wistand that kind of stuff get to know stuff before you say oh its BLAH BLAH BLAG JUST SHUT UP YOU DE DU DEE
Everyone else says to never use anything gavanized, due to the toxic fumes released when it reaches a certain temperature.
