Dude! You made some really sweet comments on what that lady was saying. You could tell she was ready to leave just because she felt the embarrassment. She really had nothing to say and kept repeating herself with arguments that made no sense. No matter what, companies will do what they can to make themselves look good. This lady was obviously a b*tch and was just making excuses to get herself out of the trouble she was in :D

This woman is a complete idiot. She ran her mouth on behalf of the company she works for when she should have referred these tree hugging kids to KC's PR department then called campus security.

such a joke

Is this women for real?!
She does realize these forests are what keep us living.Who's gonna be spending that money when she's choking on the ground for some oxygen...

Clear cutting is bad for ecosystems, bad for biodiversity, and, perhaps most importantly, bad for us. Forests provide what is currently the most important service on the planet - they sequester ever-more poisonous carbon dioxide. Cutting them down is cutting our own lifeline.
UVM activists: Keep fighting.
Kimberly Clark: Your business was excusable when no one knew better. Now we do. You're mortgaging all of our futures to bump your market share a point or two. Stop now. Save ancient forests.
haha just lettin you know you are completely wrong :)

Smiley face? Best friends? You just questioned my intelligence and my sexuality. We're not cool.
Plus, you aren't saying anything remotely convincing. Any 14 year-old could say what you did.

im a forester and you're an idiot. Trees are a renewable resource and clearcuts increase diversity and the early successional species that begin to grow provide for wildlife habitats that normally wouldnt be there. Clearcuts are only approved when there is appropriate amounts of regeneration. You sound so gay and uninformed.

...this video is now an indicator of my sexuality? Do you realize that you ironically sound like a complete moron by calling me "gay" as you try to make some sort of specialized point? Of course trees are renewable, but you make it sound like they just pop back up. The last thing we need to be doing in a state of global environmental crisis is to clear-cut trees in climax ecosystems. It completely fucks up the carbon cycle and degrades the soil, and while maybe it's good for

'successional species', it doesn't do shit for the species like wolves, bears, woodland caribou, migratory birds, and practically every other type of fauna that inhabit these areas. Oh wait, except to take it away from them.
I don't care who you are or what you do, calling me a gay idiot completely discredits you, even if your argument wasn't vague. Not that my retort is particularly scientific, but come on. This is YouTube.

She was a nice lady. She would probably get fired for speaking out. To have a family to support and aquiring large amounts of debt, I can understand when she says that it can't be done overnight. It's useless to say that money is her god when we are all part of that system. What is needed is regulation on capitalism because by its very nature is corrupt.(current economic crisis and past ones. Workers would have no rights if it wasn't for the Unions wich are being attacked and destroyed.Habeus co

Ideally, this movement would help create regulation, so drawing as much attention to the issue as possible is key. I understand that they can't change overnight and that she had no real authority (so she shouldn't have answered some of the things that she did), and that the decline in labor unions in the country has only helped crunch the middle class and lessen job security. Hopefully after this election we can start fixing some of these issues...
