@Lakers280 Shaq wasn't overrated, but he did admit recently, when he retired, that everything he did in his NBA career was "task-driven", not "relationship-driven". Kobe was task driven, as was Phil Jackson. Those 3 always had their own agenda throughout their careers, and the years they spent together produced 3 straight titles. But when their own individual agendas/egos were ultimately threatened, they parted ways. The secret to their success together was also the reason for their downfall.

I don't know about shaq being overrated, I just know both players both players had ego and one player had to go. Remember it was shaq team in the early 2000 and kobe wanted to be the next MJ so someone had to go. It was destined to end, in anyway both player won a championship seperately so everyone just move on.
