i have an 8mb connection but youtube streaming is absolute shit. all other streaming sites work very well, but for youtube the average download speed i get is 60kb/s

man, waiting for this video to load is going to take forever. I'm sure you have, but just incase you haven't.. You should post a written article explaining everything tahts explained here, that way people with really badly capped net don't have to wait 2months for the vid to load.
