  • This is the Doctor; my childhood, my home, my refuge from the world's pain.

    Farewell the Tenth.

  • @ElsJones94 I looked her up. Thanks!

  • @Gymnastix1710 you don't know who she was? Sarah Jane Smith? Does that name ring any bells? She was a companion on Doctor Who many years ago and last year she died of cancer while filming her own spin-off series The Sarah Jane Adventures.

  • @ElsJones94 Who's Elizabeth Sladen???

  • @OrionoftheStar

Its Vale Decem. It translates to "Farewell, Ten"

  • AWSOME!!!!!!!!

  • I really should stop posting before I finish watching a video.

This really captured the feeling of the last part of The End of Time. When the 9th Doctor died, I was sad that the character was leaving. But when the 10th died... it felt more like I was losing a friend to death than a tv character.

  • That is Latin, isn't it? It should be "wall-ay de-kem", from what I remember of high school.

  • @Britlass925 Meant to add, they tend to talk with a deep voice, yet sing almost like a woman.

  • Was raised on Doctors 1, 2, 3 and 4. Tom Baker was my favourite, until #10 and David Tennant came along. Have to give kudos to Chris Eccleston's #9. though.

FYI: The term countertenor refers to the highest male voice. Many countertenor singers perform roles originally written for castrati in baroque operas.
