Lady in tears on Jeremy Vine show because she can't recycle the packaging for her toothbrush.

First off, Geoff from Swansea sounds like a bit of a rebel. I got a lot of time for him.

Liz in Medway is another matter. She reeeeeeally doesn't like it when she can't recycle the packaging for her toothbrush, to the point where she has herself a wee meltdown live on air.

And she's right. It's just NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Are you listening Oral-B?

My favourite bit is where she complains that "we're just not thinking outside the box!"

  • Recycling generates WASTE, and causes POLLUTION!

Buy the bloody toothpaste in a REUSABLE receptacle, and pressure Oral-B to provide re-fill units in supermarkets/shops!

    Stupid woman!

You go BACK to the same supermarket every week, take back the EMPTY toothpaste dispenser and get a REFILL!

No waste, no recycling, no significant extra hassle.

Why do people think recycling is so bloody good? It's just as bad as landfilling it in my view.
