@DeathForRomance But then I remember it's Squeenix. They're no longer Squaresoft or Enix. What was once two great powerhouses are now a decaying house of gaming nobility that more often then not feel like empty shells of previous glory depending heavily upon their illustrious name to carry them through unsteady times.

Final Fantasy could've ended and they could've started Fabula Nova Crystalis. People would've probably gladly taken in FNC and FF13's reception would've been a better success if they would've taken the spiritual successor route. Plus some faith was dwindled when long time members of the original FF team went away. A rebranding like this while drawing in the fans from previous brand would've benefited them better.

@Necroskull388 The original Kefka is far more sinister with a lesser sense of humor, so it really is a choice between. Do you want a more comical yet extremely dangerous vile and horribly inhumane Kefka vs a more threatening and disturbing extremely dangerous vile and horribly inhumane Kefka.

I think we'd win either way, and no matter which version he'll still be the nihilist we know and love to hate.

@KONTROLLEN348 The problem with that is that the character designer for VI and before was Amano,and VII and after,Nomura.Nom doesn't feel comfortable writing for someone else's characters,and that's why Setzer is the only pre-VII character in Kingdom Hearts.Plus,we all love the English localized Kefka,who was changed from the Japanese version by Bowdler.To get an idea of what he was originally like,play Dissidia 012.I'm totally for him being in KH,as long as he's Bowdlerized.
