@lilysweety2 Well, that's kind of what I'm referring to as reality. I don't have much attachment to form in objects, though some people are really finicky about it. Though it can make the environment, it doesn't provide a means by which you are relieved from any permanent suffering or give you any permanent happiness. Just took a shortcut and said that it has nothing to do with reality, though that's not true

@crudhousefull are you serious? it has anything to do with reality! design is just boring cause it has nothing to do with emotion ,it is just souless objects

I SO wish I was interested in this kind of stuff, but it's just soooo boring. Maybe it's because it has nothing to do with reality.

she has nice fashion sense

gas masks for everyone!

Awesome, like all those other TED Talk things. But she is stylish, pretty and speaks very persuasively.

No "Design & Science" exhibit would be complete without "Strange Attractors" such as the Chaos Pendulum. "Flowform" hearttbeat water sculpture would be nice as well.(Based on Leonardo da Vinci's water studies)

very nice vid :)
it deals with some design aspects that you don't notice very often

I like her voice.
I like her sensitivity to people in general, even though she said she preferred objects, I think she meant that she prefers how objects relate to people, how they come together, what is between them instead of any one of them... thank you for the lovely post TED!

Does anyone really care what she imagines the afterlife to be like? I know I don't!
