In Sanskrit the 'r' in Krishna is actually a semi-vowel. Sometimes it is transliterated w/ the 'i' as 'ri', sometimes it isn't. So no, it is not like when peole write G-d.

  • @rafael1berto Obrigado Brasil por Seu Jorge!

  • @MisterFleshcage When spelled in Hindi, the "Kr" portion of the word "Krsna" does not have a definite vowel sound attached to it. It is occasionally "Krishna" for ease-of-reading purposes. However in reality, the "Kr" in "Krsna" seemlessly transitions over to the "sna" at the end of the word without any definite vowel sounds.
