The date was July 19th, 1986. Ray McGuirk was the champion and had to face the legendary Candlepin bowler, Tom Olszta. The crowd was small that day but whoever did show up got to see a very special show, as Tom would go on to break the all time record for the highest Triple on the Channel 5 show, with a 483. It would later be broken by Paul Berger's 500 in 1992.
Here is part 1 of Tom Olszta's legendary 483 triple, I hope you enjoy :D
I'm pretty sure it was the only season he appeared.

If I am not mistaken, this is also one of the very first episodes taped at Fairway Sports World after Sammy White's went belly up.

I am so glad Wolfdude that you got this show posted. Maybe this will make your friends and subscribers refrain from pleading you.

Too bad I couldn't see this when it originally aired; it aired 3 months and 30 days before I was born. So thanks Wolf.

By the 2nd ball by Olszta, you can tell this was going to be a great show.

AWESOME! Great hearing that theme song again. You are bringing back a lot of memories with these. I remember Olszta but not McGuirk. Thanks Wolfman!
