@NAMTRIP Winning is all that matters from a team aspect, but I was talking about best individual players. I'm sorry you're not smart enough to generate an opinion you can call your own. Just because idiots in the media say that championships matter when measuring individual greatness, it doesnt mean that they'e right. Bill Russell, as an individual, is not one of the greatest ever. Also, there wasn't much competition back then. Half as many teams; two of which were stacked: Lakers and Celtics.

None of those centers were 19 year old allstars who scored 81 points and were compared to MJ all the time. You're probably one of those old generation people who thinks that your era of basketball was the greatest ever.

Okay due your list needs some corrections:
-Wilt Chamberlain at number 6! How could you put 5 players above Wilt. Wilt averaged over 50 points in a season, scored 100 points in one game, grabbed 57 rebounds in one game, scored over 4025+ points in a single season (and now they have more games), No player (besides Wilt) has ever had more then 10 games with 50+ points in a season, Wilt once got 45 games above 50+, and he never fouled out of a game.

u gotta take russell, wilt, shaq, and duncan off that list. Were talking about the BEST players...the most skilled/talented players...not the players with the most championships or the most physically dominant players. hakeem and and kareem were both skilled big men. shaq, wilt, and russel...not quite.
