  • @Phead128 yeah the great depression was worse. the unemployment was lower than it is today. all the manufacturing jobs were completely wiped out, which made a huge percentage in the US. todays situation is like childs play compared to the great depression. AAA credit downgrade is the only thing you got. thats your only arguement. but in reality, that shit is like childsplay compared to back then. people back then would kill to have what we have today.

  • @AmericaRuinsYou

If you want to bring up how bad Great Depression is, and say we aren't as bad as Great Depression, not even WW2 and Great Depression did America's AAA credit got downgraded.

Just mentioning a fact - you got owned!!!

  • @Phead128 wow you dont know shit.

how does any of this stuff make us worse off than the great depression. the unemployment rate back then was so much more severe. i dont kno about you, but id rather be in debt than have no job.

how does having a bad AAA credit rating make us worse off now than the great depression. you have no idea what youre talking about. face it, you dont know shit. all you know how to do is make america look bad cuz you cant handle us.

  • @AmericaRuinsYou

America was even more indebted as a percentage of GDP during Great Depression and WW2, and still didn't get her AAA credit rating downgraded.

It's because although Great Depression and WW2, the US spent a lot of money... they didn't nearly spend as much money and dig themselves further to bankruptcy as they are doing now.

Its' because of medicare, medicaid, social security, Bush Tax Cuts during a financial bailout, and many wars...

  • @Phead128

how did u own me? the great depression was even worse than whatever debt ceiling youre talking about now. AAA credit? that wasnt shit compared to the great depression. the situation now would be considered heaven compared to back then. and we survived taht shit. american persistence will once again prevail. democracy and true freedom will once again prove its superiority over your savage communism. we are god's people. and god's hand will come down on you.

  • @AmericaRuinsYou

Yep. I owned you. Don't bring up Great Depression again, because America's AAA credit rating wasn't even downgrade during the Great depression.

    You just got slaughtered boy;l.

  • @Phead128 not even the great depression tarnished america's AAA rating? it was much worse than that! and we overcame that because of our determination as american people to fight for freedom and democracy. we overcame every thing the world threw at us and we come back stronger every time. you know why we americans are ahead of the world? because we have american values, and decent hard working american folk. something you slumdogs know nothing about. your side of the world is pitch dark.

  • @AmericaRuinsYou

Not even the Great Depression and WW2 tarnished America's prestigious AAA credit rating. However, just a couple days ago, America's credit rating got downgraded.

I repeat - Not even during the Great Depression was America's prestigious AAA credit rating downgrading.

You have to open your eyes, the wholesale dismantling of the once greatest nation on earth is unfolding within our lifetime.

  • @Phead128 thats something only america and its people can overcome. japan fucked up because they lack good old american values that made us great. we came out the great depression a superpower. and we gonna come out this one victorious just the same. things look bad, but they are nowhere near as bad as the great depression, and we conquered that shit. we have freedom and we have democracy, things a swamp rat like yourself will never experience in his lifetime.

  • @AmericaRuinsYou

I wished I shared your confidence... right now, we have an excessively indebted nation who will accrue massive interest payments to her increasingly insolvent debt for as far as the eye can see, slow and painful stimulus spending hangover not unlike the 1990's Japanese "lost decade", and a threat of double-dip recession, as well as unmanageable overseas commitment in Iraq, Afghainstan, and now Syria and Libya.
