What i do is plug the HDMI to the TV. Then i take the normal A/V cables and plug the audio outputs into my Receivers inputs. This though requires a Audio Receiver and Speakers.

i have this tv. i got it to play xbox360. when i play xbox theres no sound but when i watch tv sound it perfect. does anyone know what hapened?
