This is my first ever Flash + After Effects (+ Soundbooth) effort. It took about 5 days to create and it was relatively hard to do considering I never had the programs almost 6 days ago and was learning it virtually on my own. This Flash animation is an interesting take on what getting a Starman (from the Super Mario Bros. series) could be like in real life. I had a lot of fun creating it in the end once I got the hang of both programs (save for Flash apparently corrupting my first animation and subsequently having to do it all over again, After Effects losing all of my .asnd files imported from Soundbooth after I saved & closed AE for the day and crashing repeatedly right after I had finished the animation, and my Quicktime player screwing up the rendered product mistakenly leading me to believe that the animation had not rendered correctly. [VLC Media Player took care of that problem]).
Enjoy it!
P.S. Many, MANY thanks goes out to all the people who have created Youtube tutorials for these programs, creativecow.com and their excellent tutorials, and last, but definitely not least, my friend Patrick. Without all of you, I'd still be sitting here doing everything the hard way and my animation probably would've sucked really bad.
(Thanks to TMK for having the Mario sound effects I needed.)
lol nice animation! I never used after effects before but it looks great! The middle part was kinda trippy
