Nursing -- Care to make a difference?
UniSA's Bachelor of Nursing program has been designed to prepare nurses to meet healthcare delivery requirements of the 21st century and respond to Australian and international healthcare trends. As well as studying contemporary theory content, in both a traditional and online environment, students undertake a range of practical learning experiences through simulation based learning in nursing laboratories as well as placements. Nurses play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who are sick, injured or in need of health support programs. Nurses work in a variety of health care settings including community health centres, hospitals, aged and rehabilitative care facilities, industrial sites, schools and the homes of individuals.
