Travis Roy discusses returning to BU after a tragedy 11 seconds into his first shift for the BU men's hockey team left him paralyzed. "When you have a disability in college or in general that you can either be one of two things: you're either invisible -- people look right past you -- or you're intimidating -- they don't know what to say, they don't know what to do -- they look right past you." "If there's one I can encourage you to do ... when you come across somebody that's a little different -- maybe they have a disability -- just that moment of having compassion, looking that person in the eye, putting a smile on your face, saying hello -- that's all I wanted. I just wanted somebody to come up to me to see that I was still the same Travis Roy. Because it's true -- it's what's inside that makes us who we are."
