@Tiklez99 It's not a certain genre of music that is bad, it's the message in a song that could be bad. It's something you have to determine for yourself, sexually provocative lyrics, lyrics that make fun or glorify sin, etc. Christians should hate sin and stay away from anything revolving it.

Oh LORD! i use to listen to all those songs. But ever since i got delivered i 've become so much more aware of everything. I love God so much for unveiling my eyes and giving me a good ear. but what i'm most grateful for is the heart he gave me.

I was watching this in my room and my teen son heard the music came running in and said i thought u dont listen to music like that,I started laughing and said,come over here and listen to this son,you see me and him been going back and fouth about how what we see,and hear effects us,Made my point ! thanks for vid!

So true!! I just wish I could get my sons to realize that they can't just keep listening to that music,videos&acting on what they say; thinking all they have to do is pray & then do it again!! There has to be change when you ask for forgiveness;you can't do the same sin over&over thinking "we're all sinners" so all I have to do is pray each time w/out a change!

Coltrane and Herbie hancock both used meditation techniques from Hinduism and buddhism respectively. Further you can tell when certain songs come on y they were written, you can feel the pleasure, optimism, and on the opposite the lust, the anger, the sorrow
