@MrJAich1: this dance isn't related to bharatnatyam, it's regular kathak. The movements from 2:20 to 2:40 are very typical kathak movements. Kathak actually has stories of the gods without rhythmical movements. I don't know why she isn't wearing ankle bells, it seems unusual, but maybe there's a reason to it.

How does this dance relate to bharatanatyam? It seems closer to this style because she is not wearing the ankle bells and is not making the rhythmic movements of Kathak. I also thought that the Kathakali told stories of the gods. Could you help me with this?

I like watching her dance. There is so much emotion in her movement. Even though I can't understand what they are singing about, the emotions come through. Very nice. Thank you.

There was a full video of her doing this same dance piece when she was younger. Although she isn't as athletic now as she was in the other video, her abhinaya has improved immensely. A great dancer!!!!
