Had an idea for a video during breakfast, so I turned on the camera and shared a little tip to deal with local allergies. Find a local place to purchase honey, not from the store though check out your farmers markets or local bee keepers. The theory behind this is that the local bees use local pollen to make they honey. When you ingest the pollen your body can build a defense against the pollen, lessening your reaction to the pollen. Give it a try and let me know how it works.

  • How much do you eat? Per day? Just before my allergy season or all year long?

  • @MrSmiles51 , about 4 weeks before allergy season starts I add about a teaspoon on my toast in the morning, and a tablespoon in my hot tea in the afternoon.

  • I have allergies to cats. I ate half a jar of cat dander and I feel like a new man. Now on my table I have a salt shaker, pepper shaker and cat dander shaker.

  • Absolutly true.... I didnt realize about that untill i move from argentina to here, austin tx. I didnt believe on natural medicine, but yi mom was giving us a lot of natural food and one thing that she gived us was pills of Pollen.... Yeap... Weird taste, But it really work.... I cant find pollen pills, but local honey dose the trick... Last time i got sick was more than a year... By the way, my dad is a big fan of it, and just saw him sick 4 times in the last 20 years.......

  • my friend told me about your video, he was super stoked to have found this video. thanks for posting. great work

  • I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, bought some locally made non-pasturized honey and since I've been using it, I feel better, my allergies are gone !

  • nectar is used to produce honey, pollen just bums a ride to pollinate the other flowers while the bees are retrieving the nectar. Pollen is used in reproduction for flowers. Honey is a rather complex substance, so this would be anecdotal at best, but there may be a compound in the honey to assist, or just some extra sugar and a placebo effect.

  • Forgot to type English lol!!!

  • I've been taking the organic flaxseed oil... It helps alot with my allergies... I recommend it to u guys!!!... Tastes horrible but it's worth it!!! Sorry for my bad, I'm still learning!! :)
