You might think giving up $37.5 million in pay would win a businessman a little favor from the media. As far as CNN's "American Morning" goes -- not this time. Countrywide Financial's Angelo Mozilo is stepping down as the beleaguered mortgage lender's CEO. Mozilo is giving up $37.5 million in severance pay because he said he felt it was the "right thing to do."
who posted this? a rich CEO? The guy has millions upon millions. I worked at CW day and night for 4.5 years "and weekends", with hardly any time off and only 4 sick days used...each year the
raise they gave me was 1/4 to 1/2 less each year. The people they hired in the file room were lazy and constantly lost files. I was laid off in Feb.07 after being a loyal employee that always toed the line and followed orders. The company is going down and the CEO got a "big" bonus. my opinion.
