One of the most incredible places on Planet Earth: British Columbia's Flathead River Valley....

Here it is, the next U.E.N.A.P.G. video, from me, Suicune's rider! I'm spreading the word. Don't you know about it? (No, it's not "the Bird",) It's the beautiful Flathead River Valley! North America's Serengeti! And it's hanging in the balance: between people who dearly want to protect it, and coal mining, logging, and drilling companies who have been eying it hungrily for years..... (Not to mention the trophy hunters who prowl around the Flathead frequently, with no one there to stop them...)

We must take action, and get this great wilderness turned into a National Park, thus ensuring it's protection for generations to come! And we must do it before it's to late.

EVERYBODY, HERE ARE THE LINKS. Go to these websites to learn more about the Flathead, and how you can help:

Help me spread the word! Send this video to your friends, and get more people involved. The Flathead must become a National Park to ensure it's safety. Otherwise, it will always be stalked and scared by the coal and oil companies, trophy hunters, poachers, and loggers......

  • This looks like a beautiful area but one thing people forget is that we need coal to live...either that or go back to the stone ages but we know that would be hard to do now.

How is the metal made for the components in your computer? The metal for your car or house etc etc? I am a coal miner as well as an avid hiker outdoorsman etc. I too cringe when I see the destruction we do to the land. But, after the land is reclaimed it looks pretty nice too. As for the animals... Lol that isn't even the

  • Respond to this video... That's very true. The only problem is, the mining companies after the Flathead were not as decent as the ones you seem to have been involved with. The BP apparently was sneaking around the Flathead-- and NOT being honest about it. They were quietly drilling near that area, trying to see if there was anything they could take advantage of. Plus, mining around that area, in eastern BC, has always been quite destructive.

  • Many "environmental" groups have been infiltrated by Corporations. The REVOLVING door between Corporations and Politicians have never been so thick. WTF up ppl...

There is no free nation on this Earth.. Big Corps and "royal" families run this planet

  • @stangeriam Yeah, I know. I wish corporations would stay the hell away. =/

  • Hey suicune! Lol. I haven't had a computer for 4 monthes... mine got swarmed by viruses randomly.. 4 months and about 500$ later its fixed though :P. Anyway, about the video... I may be all the way on the other side of Canada, (Prince Edward Island :D) but I still think that the Flathead looks amazing! I really hope it becomes a National Park, because it would be a shame on the human race for miners and such to dig it all up :(. And you did a wonderful job with the pics and video.

  • @Canadianmancan If there is a National Park, it will be open to the public to enjoy. If we leave it to mining companies, they will blow the tops of mountains, deforest the land, and absolutely tear the place to shreds. "How many parks do we need?" A lot more, if we are to live sustainably and stop 90% of life on earth from dieing out. The mining companies that try to find balance and work sustainably with the land, rather than against it, are in the right. The ones after the Flathead are NOT.

  • @suicunesrider

    you should :)

  • @Tarbtano Thanks! :) Australia's Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa park? I should look that up. :)

  • The Flathead is like Canada's equivalent to Australia's Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa park and the US's Yellowstone Nation Park. It deserves full protection, nothing less
