A city occupied by two million permanent residents, Las Vegas is watched over with an enthusiastic eye by the Honorable Mayor Oscar Goodman. Mayor for the past ten years, Goodman is on the board of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, and describes Las Vegas as a tale of two cities. Recognizing the value placed on Vegas culture, art and sports that make it akin to other big U.S. cities, he highlights its bonus factor as a world-renowned entertainment capital. Full of shows, fine dining, shopping and extravagant hotels and resorts, Goodman sees Las Vegas as the collaborative brainchild of bright minds.

To meet the Mayor in person, constituents must come bearing gifts. Lining his office are countless presents of the past, from the Goodman's very own neon sign and throne, to thirty different portraits of him done by various artists. These mementos serve as reminders of his job overseeing the greatest city, and the second most recognized brand globally.
