How heavy is the unit? I notice there's no clip, so, I would assume it'd be REALLY hard for the original iPhone buds to stay on your ears since there's extra weight added?

This comes with a small clip that hooks to the cable on the unit. This prevents the strain on your headphones and allows you to clip it to a shirt colar or backpack strap.

im going to get one of these soon hopefully, the only thing is that you said turn off ipod but it just puts it into "sleep mode". Just commenting to avoid confusion.

You are correct, it just puts the Touch into sleep or standby mode.  It does not turn the iPod Touch completely off. Thanks for the comment.

Great Review, I subscribed but I am just wondering If the audio quality is the same as the normal headphone jack. I am asking this because my headphone jack crapped out on me and instead of getting it repaired I got this and it's in the mail right now. So yeah how's the audio?

nice preview, question about the battery life. I know it has a bigger drain on the battery, but how much worse does it make it? I have read one other review and the guy said it kills his battery way quicker than without it. I wouldn't expect to get the same battery life, but if I'm only going to get half the life I think I might stay away from this.
