From the initial Meadowlands CD-r promo (i think?). This is the precursor to the song "Boys You Won't Remember" from the final pressing of the Meadowlands. The first time I heard the Wren's was their CD-r which has a few different versions than it's counterpart. I don't know what the original album looks like so I just used the regular cover. If anyone has a scan or picture of the CD-r please let me know! Also if you anyone has the album on their computer please send it me! Sorry for the poor quality, this album is impossible to find!
Man, I was kinda heartbroken when they re-tooled this song as "Boys You Won't," and also pansified "This Boy Is Exhausted." I know, I know - they were in a different, more mellow place by the time they recorded Meadowlands, but they lost something. The raw energy those two pre-release tracks is what made me like the band, so I kinda lost interest once they chilled.

I remember hearing this on the DTR comp back in middle school, I've been searching for this song for about 10 years, thank you!!

@revk66 Ya both versions are great! I'm pretty sure this was the first Wrens song I've ever heard, never went back!

They originally released "Boy's You Won't" as "Miss Me" on a Drive-Thru records compilation....which you have here. The masters got lost. They re-arranged the song and turned it into "Boy's You Won't..." for Meadowlands. Both versions are quite good.
