The Northwestern Wildcats open up their 2008 season with a convincing 30-10 victory over Syracuse at Ryan Field in Evanston, IL.
CJ Bacher: 23 for 35, 215 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT
Tyrell Sutton: 21 carries, 152 yards, 6.9 YPC, 41 yards receiving, 1 recieving TD
Omar Conteh: 12 carries, 77 yards, 5.9 YPC
Brendan Smith: 1 INT, 1 TD
Great win for NW to start the year and what turned out to be a good 9-3 season. Also, anytime a game is announced by Pam Ward, I can't help but forgotting from time to time that it isn't a man with a high pitched voice announcing.
