@genelin1995 At this point the main plot is completely different from the books. Even if Bill is no longer King, Sophie Anne should be still alive according to the books, as well as Claudine, and a whole lot of other stuff has been changed as well.

I dont mind differences, but I want them to make sense in the context of the show. I just feel like they don't know how to keep Bill in the story without screwing with their own established mithology...

@trixiedoor Oh really? I never read the book but according to what you said I assume Bill will resign from his post in soon season 5, just to set the main plot right.

@genelin1995 When a fictional world has no rules and no internal logic, the story falls apart, because if literally anything can happen, than nothing has any weight.

In the books Bill is never King, the vampire hierarchy is very well explained there and him gaining so much power with his age and position would be unthinkable.

King Bill is a show invention, and it completely changes the whole story. Not for the best IMO, though I guess some disagree.
