Morgan and Colibria Z

This is my friend Morgan riding his new horse, Colibria Z. Morgan wants to do the jumpers and eq, so Colibria is the perfect horse for him. Colibria Z is a 12 year old, 16.3hh, Zangersheide mare. Wierd breed huh? I've never heard of it until now. Well, if you have anymore questions about Colibria, don't hesitate to ask. PLEASE DO NOT CRITICIZE!! Rate, comment, and enjoy. :)

Here is some more information on Colibria that I found on Deer Creek Sport Horses website:

This is Colibria Z, a 1996 imported Zangersheide mare. She is by the Holsteiner stallion Cevin, now standing at Studbook Zangersheide, out of the Dutch mare Colibria. This dam line has been family owned since World War II and includes the famous TB Pericles. Her sire line includes Calando I and Cor de la Bryere, as well as the famous dam line of U-Capitola by Folia.

"Bria" was imported in 2001 as a performance prospect. She competed successfully as a jumper, then as an eventer. Because of her amazing performance and supurb pedigree, we decided to give her a chance at proving herself as a broodmare. Her foals are consistantly gorgeous, correct, and athletic. Bria produces foals with brains, looks and jumping ability.

Wow! She looks great with Morgan in the tack. I miss her already....but she looks so happy doing her job and I know she is loved. She really seems to like his ride and will work hard for him. Take good care of my girl!

Actually, I think Bria only jumps 3'6".

I'm not sure how much she is, that's not really a question you ask people so I don't know. He is very lucky!

I got to meet her this year at horse camp at kjm had alot of fun he is a great guy and she is a great horse they wore made for eachother. KJM ROCKS!!!

Zangersheide - weird breed? Not at all, They breed famous show jumping horses, like Ratina Z under Franke Sloothak. Check out the current show jumping lists. Whenever you find a Z added to the name it is a Zangersheide hose.

i think the horse is more of a hunter. hes not as up right as some but i guess he could do jumper. i think he should find a diff horse to do jumper. he could go so far. great rider
