  • I'm going to the 2007 Lionel Hampton Jazz festival in February with my high school jazz band. I am also competing in the solo competition for guitar. :)

  • Good luck with that. I'm graduated and my college isn't going to Idaho, so I'm sadly going to miss it :(

  • im not into this kind of music but that was pretty cool

  • I defy anyone to hear any rendition by this group of talented individuals and go away gloomy or angry! Wow!

  • I have the whole video of their concert in Las Vegas, and it is the best I have ever heard. They just keep getting better and better. They do the original FF songs but add a new modern upbeat, really jazzy quality that has you bouncing in your seat.

  • This group is so impressive! Have loved the Freshmen sound since first heard as a teenager in England fifty years ago. Saw them live in Vegas in the late 70s. They autographed two LPs I bought at the show. This new lineup is terrific. Even richer in jazz phrasing than the original group. Crisp and, well, just so unbelievably Freshmenly!

  • What's the title of the DVD recorded in Las Vegas ? Is it also available in Europe ?

  • i think I might have been sitting right behind you...weird

  • These guy's are sooo GOOD! The original Four Freshmen harmony is there. With an extra crispness that produces exciting jazz. Can you please post them performing Day By Day? Where can I get their DVD?

  • Nothing wrong with this edition of one the greatest groups ever. My first jazz concert ever was FF in Raleigh, NC, in 1958. Loved them ever since.
