  • I don't know how you remember those numbers lol. But at 6:49 if red has got a king that would be a bad move. If he has got a king, white could force him to jump one of his white pieces. After he is forced, then white has to jump that red king. But that jump isn't a single jump but a triple jump and white could had gotten king. But of course, before doing all of this, white had to break up red's elbow. I think you are seeing what im seeing. ha ha.

  • @WhiteEmerald1991 Hi, I hope all is well! I like your question, i think you might of answer it yourself which is good because you are thinking it out. One thing cool about a video is you can watch it again and pause. Also you can have a checkerboard on the side and go over one step at a time. I am glad you like the videos. George

  • CheckerCycle, do you have a suggestion of where to play checkers online?

  • @WhiteEmerald1991 I like playok.com formerly kurnik. You can go to statistic and get your games you played there and go over them. Although a lot of the players are tournament players which makes it hard. Another site flyordie has a lot of players there and is usually easy to get games. I would check out The Checker Maven by Mr. Bob Newell he has a lot of cool facts and more information that might be helpful.

  • This is an extremely complex and hard-to-spot combo.I doubt anyone under 1700 (yahoo rating) would ever spot something like this. Thanks for posting !Can you make a vid on 3-2 endings?

  • @lazimofo90 Hi! Yes, you are right that combo is hard-to-spot. But once you know it is there it makes it easier. You might want to look at my video "A Five minute drill in checkers " for some more combinations. Also my friend Azcheckers has 3-2 ending and plans to do more. Check out his site. If that not what you are looking for ask him. Just let me know. Thank you!

  • Why didn't you move the king at 1:35 to take the brown one?

  • Fantastic videos, thank you :)

  • @magicx333 Hi! We played this game in a public place in New York and the background was real noisy. I was going over a game I played on kurnik with my friend Alex. I did fall for that trap but I learned a lot. I am glad that you notice that I was trying to tell people about the elements of time, space and force in checkers. Force was the key in that game. Space deal with mobility of your pieces, controlling key squares. Time is partly a gain in development or a waiting move. Thank you!
