Live vocal comparison between Andre Matos (ex-Angra, ex-Shaman, Avantasia) and Michael Kiske (ex-Helloween, Unisonic, Avantasia)

1. Reach Out For The Light (Avantasia 2008 & 2011)
2. Shelter From The Rain (Avantasia 2008 & 2011)
3. Sign Of The Cross (Avantasia 2008 & 2011)
4. Future World (Gamma Ray 1997 & Unisonic 2011)
5. Future World (Gamma Ray 1997 & Helloween 1992)

The comparison is as fair as possible, as both vocalists sing the same songs. (Andre Matos version of Future World was performed in 1997 and was thus compared to Kiske's versions from both 2011 and 1992)

* The video was uploaded due to many requests for this particular comparison

  • Very good video! Andre Matos sings very well, but of course I prefer Michael Kiske, who sings a lot better and, till these days, he sings in the same way as the original songs

  • Kiske >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Matos

  • Ambos son buenos, pero Micheal Kiske es el más legendario y el que tiene la mejor voz, toda una inspiración.

They are both great, but Micheal Kiske is the most legendary and the one with the better voice, quite an inspiration

  • @KingsBanshee I'm talking about Michael Kiske is just a little copy of mr. Geoff Tate and Andre Matos has a unique vocal style, maybe he doesn't sang these Kiske's songs like Kiske do but when Matos is singing his own songs no one can beat him, neither michael kiske with his falsetos and vibratos. Andre Matos' stuff are way better than kiske's, all albuns wich has andre matos on vocals are certainly amazing, now go listen to all shit that Michael kiske recorded

  • @mpaoxi Angra was never a band inspired by Helloween, if you don't know what are you saying, just don't say it. Angra was created to be a 'power metal' band, but the band's members neither like this shit called "helloween'. I'm not telling wich band's has inspired Angra or Helloween.

  • @KingsBanshee Hahaha, I don't even know in which ludicrous claim of yours I should reply. Let me just remind you 1 thing, Matos first sang for Viper (a band inspired by Iron Maiden) and then for Angra (a band inspired by Helloween)

  • @KingsBanshee You have problems, seriously.

  • Kiske can't sing anything from Andre Matos stuff

Kiske was a copy of Geoff Tate, Andre Matos always sounded unique after Viper

Kiske is only known 'cause 2 weak albuns in Helloween, with lyrics was writted for childs

Kiske left metal 20 years before and always offended metal fans after it, he's only known cause his metal stuff, now he'$ back

Kiske's new vibrato is horrible, sounds like a cat being torturate

You used songs wich Kiske recorded in studio, obviously will sounds better with him

  • Matos sucks

  • André Matos>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Michael Kiske
