I saw this film in this particular release (I was five back then). I seem to recall that when I went to see it, the theater it was playing at (or at least the parking lot) was adorned with a huge sorcerer's hat (rather like the newer animation building at the Disney Studio).

I grew up with this movie. It was my favorite from Disney. Shows that children can appreciate a movie without a clear storyline, childish stuff and talking AND with great classical music.

More amazing to think is that every drawing had to be cleaned up, re drawned, and painted twice! Walt Disney reached a level of perfection no one will ever achieve.
