Apologies for the poor cell-phone footage. I didn't even know I was going to be recording a siren yesterday until I walked out of Whole Foods and heard this going off a block away! For that reason there is no windup, but I did get approximately half of the 3-minute test.

This is the Whelen 2805 located at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colorado (Glendale is a very small, separate city surrounded on all sides by Denver). Sirens in the background are the Thunderbolt 100T at Merrill Jr. High, Thunderbolt 1000T at George Washington High, possibly the SD-10 at Ellis Elementary and maybe the Thunderbeam in Bonnie Brae.

  • Doesn't seem very loud, does it? My local fire department has a 10-cell Whelen siren that can be heard for MILES!
