A Taste of Shortwave Radio

You will notice that there is some popping and skipping of audio. It is not the radio, but it is how the video was recorded on my digital camera.

hey CHRIS ! that's a nice demo ! i do have a Drake R-8, but i do most of my casual listening with vintage gear. it is pretty cool to see the dial of the E-5...never seen one outside of catalogues....like ur graphics too !

Smooth E5! I like to monitor Arnie Corro DX'er's Unlimited Program on Tuesday and Sat. on Radio Hav. Cuba when propagation allows!

One Question: Does the E5 have an ext. antenna hookup and a line out jack?

Yes, the E5 has both the antenna and line out jacks. However, I find that the telescoping antenna performs better, based on my living arrangements in the city.

Hi, you posted the sataions and the times of the reception,however, u did'nt post the days that u got the reception. You can do that so i can tune in to thwm as well.
