  • its in 'inboard' aeleron....flaps are used to increase drag and lift in order to fly at lower angles of attack during slow speeds. the flaps are down to their desired landing setting pretty much the whole video....the inboard aeleron is goin up and down which controls roll....and the speedbrakes come up upon touchdown

  • are you sure? i don't think it's a flap but a secondary aileron for low speed use.

  • It's called a flaperon - it functions as both a lift enhancing device and all speed aileron.
