  • Very difficult to use this program. Placing the rests to the proper position is almost impossible. When I use a MIDI keyboard for input, sometimes the computer keyboard does not work. I am sure there are better programs out there than this.

  • Hi Csekonics. Positioning of rests should be very easy to change, and your problem with your computer keyboard not working is bizarre to say the least. I'm sure if you contact Sibelius Technical Help they will be able to help you with this.

  • How do you put beams on? Wont work for me!

  • The guy's voice sounds like John Finnemore's. I'm imagining him going "BRILLIANT!"

  • roobies boobies

  • How do I input a multiple measure rest (if this is possible in Sibelius First)?

  • @thegowave do u know already?? well what u do is select the first note of the bar and press ctrl+3 and that should create a triplet, as far as I remember. Its a hard program to use when u want it for more than the basics, Im having trouble doing quintuplets, apparently the same method doesnt work for those....

  • How do I do triplets?

  • It would more intuitive to be able to highlight and drag notes to different locations within the bar rhythmically like midi sequencing.

  • @RidgeJaggers backspace

  • @nicklove2011 put your rhythmic value at the start slower. e.g crotchet equal 120 will allow you 210bpm
