Climate destabilization is a moral issue for our times. We have about 5-10 years to make significant changes in the way we use energy to avoid further catastrophic climate change. The Mid-Peninsula Interfaith Convocation on Climate Action offers clergy and lay leaders the tools and support they need to make climate care an active part of their ministries and their congregational life.

Keynote Speakers:
Professor Stephen Schneider, Climate Expert, Stanford University will provide current scientific information about the climate today and likely scenarios for the future, followed by questions and answers.

Reverend Sally Bingham, Founder, California Interfaith Power and Light and The Regeneration Project will talk about the spiritual imperative for action and practical steps that congregations around the country are taking.

A panel of local clergy and lay leaders will offer practical experience on spiritual practice, facilities improvement, education and outreach.
