You can criticize her all you want, but most of you will never be as successful as her at 17 years old.

@avtrox This may seem shocking to you, but she is not a robot, so the nerves aren't surprising. I thought her speech was refreshing, considering that she received so much criticism for her mom's book (she even spelled them out on her blog... you'd be surprised at how much negative crap she's been given). But she handled it with grace and humor. I'd like to see you deliver a grad speech (that is, if you had an opportunity to do so at all).

all of you who disliked her, her story and her mother, ask yourself one question... did your kids get into Harvard?  Take a look at your life and really take a good look at your own kids.

she seems nice, but she also seems really nervous and is not a very good public speaker. speech was unorganized and there were quite a few cliched bits.

@hinatahsama well you don't know that. i thought amy chua was pretty nuts, but nothing can be delivered all in one book. feelings are like preferences.
