Very lively Visayan love song. The Spanish influence is very evident. It's not one of the better known Visayan songs but is one of the better composed ones. Listen to it!

I think it's a real shame that Visayans do nothing to conserve these songs which are being lost to obscurity. Why are Filipinos SO in love with really dumb and poorly composed music. No body thinks rap is badass anymore but Filipinos seem to think it still is. What a bunch of simpletons. Grrrr! And don't get me started on those annoying American wannabe love ballads like "Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal". What a cookie cutter song.

I'm flabergasted that songs like this are forgotten while bland Tagalog songs like Leron Leron Sinta, Bahay Kubo, Katakataka, Carinosa, Dahil Sa Iyo et al are celebrated as the best. Just because they are Tagalog.
