Band - The Faceless
Song - All dark graves
Album - Akeldama
Year - 2006
Genre - Technical death metal
Country - USA

Lyrics -

Shovels pierce the horizon bridging the barrier
Between what's and what's deceased
And the symbolic nature of all that's between
No matter who or what lies 'neath
Life carries on above unphased by the everlasting
Absence of the slowly rotting
Delving deeper; Darkness falls, corrosion sets in
As life begins to fall apart
Shapeless beings call forthto be one with them
Achieving Immortality Through the process of Decomposition
The selfish request of a treacherous host
Everything does take life, even the eath must feed
Approaching the carren wasteland
Nothing to set one space from another
Lungs collapse from lack of air
Degestion has started
There is no turning back
Atomization occurs forcing fragments
of the former in opposite directions
Some upwards through to the surface
and others into the abyss
To be forever forgotten
For the life will carry on above

  • Love the deliberately metalcore like riffs, love 2003-2006 metalcore grooves despite hating all the kids who listen to that shit.

  • i was warming up before band practice with this song, my drummer told me "dear god please tell me thats your riffage" sadly..... i said " >:'| no"

  • @tsunami2011 Haha I'm a drummer and I've had so many of those moments. My bassist was playing a necrophagist song once and told us it was his song... and then said "jk hahaha" and I was pissed

  • First album tech deathcore very little deathcore elements though I must say, second album just tech death. Also probably the only example of a band getting worse after moving away from deathcore.

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 Many people would consider this techdeath but your welcome to your opinion. Wont change mine ;)

  • @NFCButtrubb3d This isn't Tech-Death. Nile, Origin and Hate Eternal. Are Tech-Death.

  • @XxMANGLEDxxMELODYxX Besides the fact. This is Technical Deathcore. The vocals and the guitar progression make it self-explanatory. You can over analyse this like crazy but you're not going to change my opinion. This is Tech-Deathcore end of story.

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 xD Hell naw. In no way is The Faceless influenced by hardcore punk. Progressive is a style of all sorts of music. They are more influenced by Jazz than punk. Prog. rock is very much closer to The Faceless than any sort of punk. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • shut the fuck up all and just enjoy it.
