I don't think this song worked for Faith the night she debut it on tv,it was the same night her husband sang "if your reading this' and he got so much attention for that. and it took him 3 months to record it for his fans. he did it just for the soldiers. this song might have gotten more attention if it was sung another time. it would have been big. I really love this song.

@only1angelt i agree with you 100%. While kara sings this song great, Faith makes you feel like shes confessing her love and how she would feel if she no longer had her lover. Kara makes you feel like shes singing for a love that is lost. i like Faith's portrayal better,

I love this song. She gives me goosebumps when she sings it. Kara's version just makes me too depressed. Faith sings it well. It seems more of a love song when she sings it. When Kara sings it, IMO, it seems like more of a heartwrenching break up song....

faith sings beautifully but kara sings this song waaaayyyyy better because she put soul & feeling into it. when faith sings it its just a melody.

After hearing Kara sing it....it's hard to listen to this, to be honest. I wasn't able to watch the entire song. Kind of made me sad that Kara didn't record this herself. I like Faith, too...it's not that. It's just that some songs should be sung by the writers of the song. I think this is one of those.

If she didn't think Faith would do the best job on it, she wouldn't have gave it to her. She wrote several songs for her. Faith & Kara have two different styles of singing. Faith did put her feelings behind this.
