When you shoot 1000fps or so you need more light to have correct exposure. So its not a 'lighting thing' at this point, its a shutter speed issue. You simply can't expose the sensor for long enough to have it correctly exposed.
If you're shooting phantom cameras or something of equal quality you can increase the effective gain on the sensor in post processing... there is still a good chance this could be salvaged.
