ACTION!!

Filmmakers always talk about putting their heart & soul into their projects.
I finally get it. I started this project about a year ago.
This was to be my first directorial piece without being in the video.
It was originally supposed to be a quick 3 minute parody trailer about action films.
Inspired by the Machete trailer, I was going to have cheesy scenes that made no sense and were just funny.
Well, that became a bit more for this project. It turned into something bigger. It became ACTION!!

The filming process was quite easy and I just wanted to keep filming but once I was was done the stress levels became ridiculous.
Not only trying to piece this together but the personal stuff I was going through as well.
The editing process of adding special effects, music, and just putting it together were a mission.
I did indeed give up a good portion of my heart and soul to finish without thinking I ever would.
Both my heart and soul became stronger because of this trailer but with pieces left behind.
This is not just a 9 minute trailer, this is all my film experiences and lessons wrapped into a tiny portion of time.
Yes, some of the acting was cheesy and intentional but they were all stellar performances.
