@Socratess2007 Oops! Amending my comment due to un grande erreur - the arranger of this was Nick De Caro, who also left a substantial legacy of work with several Grammy-winning artists! Perry Botkin arranged 10 of the songs on this Sandpipers album. Of course this had to be one of the 2 he did NOT! It seems crass to say, but it seems fabulous arrangers are a dime a dozen. No of course they are not, but enough to demonstrate how highly competitive that phase of the music industry really is! chuck

@benglen There's more to this than meets the eye (or ear). Beyond the gorgeous vocals of the Sandpipers is another amazing artist who took a simple melody & filled it out into this lush bossa nova orchestration of this song from 1967. His name is Perry Botkin Jr, & if you like this you'd do well to find more of his music. My playlist for him has 32 songs so far.
