I picked this up from my tv antenna in Aldergrove (just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada).
This station came in from Mexico.

  • For the record, I recorded this video back in 1987 or 88.

  • May 1988, according to a research I did...

  • Sounds accurate to me! Let me know how you did your research!!

Now, this year with the U.S. stations going digital, that station would boom up here to the west coast of Canada!!!

Canada is not going digital yet, so there is a better chance of you guys in Mexico picking up some of our Canadian stations as well.

I live near the city now & can't run an antenna.

However, my friend Paul has a TV antenna on his house so we will be able to keep an eye on the skip!

    Later... Ron

  • wow so were closer to canada than i thought...lol,,,,funny show tho..

  • Yeah. I did a google map search & found out the distance from Vancouver to Mexicali is approx 2.300km. Just a long day trip! LOL!

I used to pick up that station in Mexico almost daily in the summer. Thought it was kinda cool!

    Later...... Ron

  • What kind of antenna did you use???

  • Man, you make me wake up!!.

this TV channel brodacast from this city!!!.. and the TV series capted on this videos are very famous because are a classic TV Novel dramatic shows.

Many many memories for this 80's.. at that time I was 15, and this TV net shows Magnum P.I., Mike Hammer, and The Knight rider, do you remember this TV series?

  • this is from canal 3 mexicali xhbc i'm from mexicali :) woow that's amazing:D

  • I was searching on the local newspapers from that time. Based on the tv programs shown on the video, I found the accurate date, May 1988.

And this was recorded around 10 or 11 A.M., is that correct?
