These special clips are extracted from very special episode "Hind Sight" season 6.This was the last episode from this season.Before this Dana Alcar's blindness issue was raised in " Blind Faith". In "hind sight", he is shown to be very reluctant to accept his need of surgery.He is also concerned about the life after surgery as he's always been an authorative figure.MacGyver listens to him and strengthen his hopes.

Mr, Elcar was/is a special man. I had began to experience the first stages of glaucoma. My doctors set up an proceedure, and I met this very kind man, I was crying, I looked up and saw this man who put his hand my shoulder and calmed me down, I didn't recognize him, my vision was really bad that day, but the voice was familiar. I fortunately got a good deal of my sight back, but still have problems.

Good episode...The PSA at the very beginning is also on the DVD at the end of the episode. This is a very touching ep, I've also seen the Entertainment Tonight story that was done about the episode "Blind Faith." I bet this was a hard episode to film for both of them, as their characters had been through alot together.
