Excellent condition Mt Vernon ML 37 (Circa 1956). Gorgeous warm tone with spot on intonation. Excellent Compression. All valves and slides move fast and smooth. It works perfectly! Beautiful sound! I would say the original lacquer is 80% intact. All numbers match (spring barrel, serial number ) Brass valve guides. Evidence of a small repair done at the bell flair. The bell bead has the flat look around the flair. "French Bead" You can see the tiny scar where the lacquer peeled off when the repair was made. Reeves precession valve alignment was made in 2002, and is good for life. A $250 value! This horn also has the original case. The original case with both Mt Vernon Medallions is in very good condition ( flippers have no spring but do latch). Also includes one mouthpiece Bach: 7C. Horns from this era always sound warm and smooth this is no exception. What a great Player!!!!!! More pictures upon request.

  • Yo Beast,

Definitely go with a vintage Bach they hold there resale value and they play better than their current offering. Good Luck!

  • Does Circa mean the year the horn was manufactured?

  • @250RRaptor

(often preceding a date) Approximately: It is Latin for "around." It is used in front of dates that are either approximate or uncertain. It is often abbreviated as ca.
