the one thing i don't understand is that why every time there's an awesome shred video on youtube, there are sure to be "anti-shred" people commenting on how there's no feel or musicality etc. but let's say if it is a video on a blues guitar player, i don't see anyone complaining that it's not fast or technical enough =\

@miserablemonkey O.O No it would not be the exact same concept. Shredding isn't a style of music dude, it's a method used to extenuate a style of music. That's what I'm trying to tell you but you're just too much of an ignoramus to understand. there's no use in arguing with you anymore because you just don't have the knowledge.

@shiznoes Yes, "mindless shred faggot", very open minded. Regardless, i do educate myself on other styles of music, but imagine if i were to go on a jazz video and call you a "mindless slow faggot". Its the exact same concept. How can you possibly generalize and target negatively a whole style of playing, then try to force your styles down my throat?

You only listen to shred happy guitarists WHICH IS FINE if those guitarist actually have technicality and musicality. Otherwise, it's just memorization.
