  • Out with Macaca !

  • The third best news of Election Night 2006 was when Rick Santorum was declared the loser in Pennsylvania less than an hour after the polls closed.

The second best news of the night was the defeat of Katherine Harris in Florida.

And the BEST news of the night? George "Macaca" Allen's loss to Jim Webb in Virginia.

Good riddence, Santorum, Harris and Allen! It WOULD have been better if you'd never been born but your humiliations in '06 were the next best thing.

  • what the hell has webb done?

    nothing!!!

  • great inflection in the speech.

  • This never should have happened. The ignorant majority bought the lies.

  • It seems that both Al Qaeda and the GOP are for supporting democracy. I will not be frightened for supporting a failed policy in Iraq and lack of courage and decency from your party.

  • Al-Qaeda makes up less than 5% of the insurgentcy

and of course he would say that, he's just trying to make us second guess ourselves or even 3rd and 4th guess ourselves, during the 2004 election Binladen said Bush's re-election helped Al-Qaeda, you cant trust them to give us a straight veiwpoint on how to beat them

  • BBC News reports that a statement from the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq hails the defeat of Republicans in the US mid-term polls.

"I tell the lame duck (US administration) do not rush to escape as did your defence minister.

"The American people have taken a step in the right path to come out of their predicament... they voted for a level of reason," the voice said. Muhajir, also known as Ayyub al-Masri, has been identified by US forces as the successor to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

  • They'll say anything to make it look as though they're winning. It's too bad you help to spread their terror and demoralise our troops for them.

    All for politics too. Shameful.
