  • see if people listened to this instead of...rap the world would be such a better place. i hate being the only 14 year old to appreciate good music... it really sucks

  • Indeed! Music sets the tone of the soul. Beautiful music drives the soul to beautiful actions! Es naturalis discipulus Platonis! (You are a natural student of Plato!)

  • @Gluberbloob As a seventeen year old girl who loves hiphop, jazz, soul, funk, rock, blues, and almost every other kind of music (I don't like dubstep, heavy metal, etc.), just as much as classical music like Wagner, I can't fully agree with you. Indeed, there are a lot of (young) people, who don't appreciate 'good music', and indeed, you do, but there isn't just one kind of good music. You don't have to like it, but good rap isn't bad, even though it's sometimes hard to find.

  • @Gluberbloob

    Don't hate being one of the few people of superior insight who are able to appreciate the best that the world has to offer. Hang in there, you'll eventually hook up with others who can appreciate the finer things.

  • @Gluberbloob Well you also have (because of that) a deserved stature of uniqueness.

  • @SuperDarchangel you are right; it is George London. Best Wotan ever (and best Amfortas too!)

  • @alistairkildare "Indeed! Music sets the tone of the soul. Beautiful music drives the soul to beautiful actions!"

    Didn't seem to work that way for Hitler.

  • @Gluberbloob I was about 14 when I discovered The Ring. I'm now in my 50s and it still thrills me. I'm a singer and am now learning Alberich! What a kick it is, though very difficult. Always continue to love and appreciate fine art and music. The world needs folks like you now more than ever!

  • @handofnergal

    not yet, just talking about it

  • @Gluberbloob You're not the only 14 year-old person who appreciates good music. You're not alone.

  • @handofnergal

    yes, the very first musical theme (= first 15 sec.) is the one for walhall.

    @ApsisApocynthion

    the "half naked woman" seems to be freya, the goddess of youth and beauty with her tree of golden apples that give eternal live to the gods

  • @SuperDarchangel

    Maybe its George London, but I´m not sure...
