"This Heart of Mine" was written by Harry Warren and Arthur Freed for the film, Ziegfeld Follies, released in 1946. Joni James' version is from her 1963 album, Like Three O'Clock In The Morning, originally released on MGM Records. Personnel include: Jimmy Haskell (arranger, conductor); Pete Jolly (piano); Howard Roberts (guitar); Ralph Penna (bass); Shelly Manne and Milt Holland (drums). The album can be found on CD combined with the album, After Hours, on Collectors' Choice, a subsidiary of Emi-Capitol.

I first this by the Hi-Lo's in the early 60's. I loved it then and enjoy it now! James handles the jazz angle very well.
